Eron, a young woman from Kawempe, has faced significant challenges throughout her young life but her unwavering determination and aspirations have kept her focused on her goals.

The loss of Martha is felt deeply by all of us who knew her. Her life was a testament to resilience, hope and determination in the face of adversity. Despite the hardships she endured, she never stopped fighting for a better future. Martha’s spirit was one of quiet strength and inspiration, and her untimely passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who admired her courage and ambition.
This March two young mothers have graduated from vocational institutes. Esther graduated with a diploma in Early childhood development from YMCA Comprehensive Institute and Harriet graduated with a certificate in hairdressing from Heart and Hands Vocational Institute.
Josephine is a young lady who hails from a district in central Uganda. She recently graduated with a certificate in Nursing and Midwifery. Josephine was sponsored by HFLK through the two and half years course. Her choice of course was inspired by her own health condition (she suffers from sickle cell anemia).
